MICA’s Office of Open Studies fuels creative journeys through convenient and innovative learning models that provide broad access to the college’s rigorous art and design education. As the Director of Brand Marketing, I created the brand & marketing frameworks, strategies, plans, budgets, and campaigns to position the academic unit in the market and to promote the year-round degree and non-degree programming which serve over 1,000 students each year.

The CEO and Founder of Conscious Venture Lab (CVL) hired me to develop a strategy to refine and develop the CVL and Conscious Venture Partner’s brand. The deliverables were centered on verbal identity: refined positioning statement, tagline architecture, positioning statements; marketing audit: baseline understanding of digital channel performance and data analytics; and recommendations for a visual identity refresh.

Baltimore Corps builds robust and equitable processes to enlist talent in advancing Baltimore’s most promising social innovations. The Elevation Awards provide planning grants of $10,000 and personalized support to people of color who are Baltimore City residents piloting novel approaches to strengthen Baltimore communities. I conducted workshops to provide strategies and tools for the entrepreneurs to utilize in their businesses.

Wide Angle Productions crafts compelling stories and graphic design projects for organizations and businesses that strive to make Baltimore a healthier, happier city. They employ and empower our Youth Producers, Baltimore City youth ages 16-24. As budding storytellers, they concept, shoot and edit stories from start to finish. I conducted workshops to enlighten and share marketing frameworks to the budding designers and artists.

The #SHE_BUILDS Global Initiative is an international platform that exists to accelerate social, economic, and environmental progress in Haiti by equipping entrepreneurs, innovators, and change makers with the tools to scale their impact. From 2018-2021 I served as the Baltimore Chapter Ambassador and supported the Global Initiative by providing marketing strategy and research to help develop our ecosystem tools, including the re:nesans 2040 campaign.

HACK Baltimore is the first city-wide tech movement that teams up community advocates, non-profits, technologists and city residents to design “sustainable” solutions for the challenges impacting Baltimore. As the emeritus Brand & Marketing Director, my role was to establish the brand & marketing frameworks, which included producing promotional videos to announce the initiative.
